A Biased Look at the New York Yankees, the Greatest Franchise in the History of Sports

Now this is what’s it about. The Yankees turned a 6-2 deficit into an 8-6 win by blasting the Indians so called closer. Josh Phelps started the inning off with a solo homerun and then the hero, Alex Rodriguez, hit a walk off three run shot to win it. The homerun was his tenth of the season. All if a days work for A-Rod. Bobby Abreu had a nice game and he went four for five with two RBIs and a run and Jason Giambi also went yard.
Sean Henn picked up the win in relief. It was his first career win. Darrell Rasner threw only 4 1/3 innings but it wasn’t all bad. He gave up one run on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
The Yankees sit just one back of the Red Sox and two square off in a huge three game series at the shit box. I don’t particularly care for the pitching matchups but that’s what happens when you have a guy who was throwing in Double A last week in your rotation. I still say Yanks win two of three and they score 30 runs doing it.
