A Biased Look at the New York Yankees, the Greatest Franchise in the History of Sports

Alex Rodriguez is getting kind of boring. Homeruns every day, and all of those RBIs. I mean c’mon, mix it up. Belt a triple now and then or something. And he’s only scored 16 times versus the 23 RBIs. He needs to score more. And maybe steal a base or two, which he can’t do if he’s trotting around the bases. Or maybe he should start bunting for his hits, just to make it fair.
Hah, A-Rod is on a tear. He belted his ninth homerun tonight in a 9-2 win over the Indians. Derek Jeter finished with three hits and two runs and Jason Giambi went yard for the third time this season.
Kei Igawa picked up his MLB win with a solid outing. He held the Indians to two runs on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings of work. Then three relievers held the Indians hitless in the final three frames.
Tomorrow, Darrell Rasner will try to follow up on a solid start last week to finish off the Indians in their three game series. The Yankees will get to dismantle Fausto Carmona as the Yankees will hopefully finish up the sweep.
