A Biased Look at the New York Yankees, the Greatest Franchise in the History of Sports

Alright, the Yanks lost a series to the Orioles and our pitching has been downright horrible. The fact that the Yanks are 2-3 is testament to their great offense and Alex Rodriguez is leading the way. Whether he’s playing for a contract or not, he has four homeruns and eleven RBIs in the first five games. Thats’s a solid clip.
Darrell Rasner joined the rest of the starters by not going five innings. He almost made it though but he was knocked around for five runs on eight hits and two walks with two strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. Andy Pettitte actually came in and threw an inning of relief (not too bad either) but the pen could have no-hit the Orioles and it wouldn’t have mattered in the 6-4 loss.
The Yankees hit the road and they’ll take on the Twins, minus Johan Santana who threw in yesterdays game. Maybe Carl Pavano can actually make it through five innings. Then again, maybe not.
