A Biased Look at the New York Yankees, the Greatest Franchise in the History of Sports

The Yanks lost the rubber game in their three game series with the Red Sox 7-4 and it was Chien-Ming Wang who dropped his second straight start of the season. He gave up four runs on six hits and three walks with strikeout in six innings. Scott Proctor gave up a run as well and Sean Henn was tagged for two.
Alex Rodriguez didn’t go yard and he didn’t drive in a run but he went two for four to cap off a historic April. Doug Mientkiewiecz and Derek Jeter both hit the ball over the fence though and Mientkiewiecz did it with two runners on.
So the Yankees start the new week in last place, but don’t expect it to last. Next up is three against against the Rangers in Texas. Phil Hughes get his second start in the opener on Tuesday in the opener. The Rangers have struggled of late so hopefully they can use this series to get back on track.
