Chien-Ming Wang Loses Season Debut to Devil Rays

by @ 6:52 pm. Filed under 2007 Season

This losing streak is starting to suck.  Mike Myers gave up a grand slam to Carl Crawford that ended up being the difference in the Yankees 6-4 loss to the Rays.  Chien-Ming Wang took the loss, but he definitely had some help in this one.

Hideki Matsui homered, drove in two and scored twice in the loss.  A-Rod was hitless. Yeah, I know it’s hard to believe.  Almost as hard to believe as this five game losing streak.  Yeah, that’s the Yankees in last but don’t get to used to it.  What’s nice is, the Jays beat up the Red Sox so the total to get back on top is still what it was when we started the week.

Speaking of the Jays, they roll into town for two games.  A win, or two, would be nice.
