A Biased Look at the New York Yankees, the Greatest Franchise in the History of Sports

First off, a little pat on the back. The Yankees called up Chase Wright to take over in the rotation with both Carl Pavano and Mike Mussina hitting the disabled list. Of course you would have been up on this had you read this very blog back on Thursday because I mentioned Chase Wright back then.
Anyway, back to the present. The Yankees had a 4-2 lead going into the ninth and Mr. automatic, Mariano Rivera, gave up a three run bomb to Marco Scutaro of all people. A nice start by Andy Pettitte went to waste and the Yankees once again slipped a game below .500.
Alex Rodriguez and Jorge Posada were the hitting stars. They both went two for four with a run and an RBI.
Next up is a tough Indians team. The Yankees do have the day off tomorrow so hopefully the day off will do everyone some good because it’s time to get back on track.
